What is love? I've asked this question many, many times and I've received many humorous answers.
- Baby don't hurt me. //cute
- Love is protecting the other person from harm, even from themself. //Youth Pastor Kyle Higginbotham
- Kindness, pain, longing, anger, waiting, wishing, hoping, laughing, smiling, grinning, lies, truth. It can be any one of these at any time. There is no single word, sentence, paragraph or even book to describe love. //Andrew Harmon

What made God give up His only son for His creation? What makes a man and a woman inseparable? What makes man and his Creator one? Love. I want to experience love. Real love.
The bible gives us an example of the characteristics of love.
"Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance." -1 Corinthians 13:4-7 NLT
This is just a few tid bits of the things that I am going to cover in my blog entries. I'm excited for what God is going to show me during my personal study. Over the next few months (or however long it takes to finish this) I will be studying my bible, going to see speakers, and just talk to a lot of people about what love really is.
